Stellaris Store Page. Global Achievements. Danso View Profile View Posts. Steam definitely downloads the mods, yet they're no where to be found. Every other game and I have hundreds of titles will download mods that I subscribe to, without problem.
Stellaris is the only game where, for some reason, subscribing to mods simply doesn't work. They used to work fine back before the latest major update, but ever since, the launcher has been completely broken and I'm unable to subscribe to new mods, or even unsubscribe to old ones after unsubscribing, they remain in my mod list, unless I manually remove them. So far, I've: Sat and waited on the launcher for ages, to see if the modlist updates. Restarted my computer. Verified my cache integrity.
Ensured cloud synchronization is enabled. Both via steam and for Stellaris. Unsubscribed to all mods. They remain in my mod list. Subbed and unsubbed through my browser, instead of steam.
No effect. EDIT: Ok apparently what's happening is that One-Drive doesn't actually delete your cloud service upon un-installing, and programs that previously accessed it can still access it. Because One-Drive detects that I'm once again using their services, it re-installs itself. I pulled my internet and let a fresh install of Stellaris try to find my default directory, and it just failed with that same report you see up there.
EDIT: Redirected my rage toward One-Drive, as Stellaris didn't really reinstall it but rather just triggered it's automatic re-install. How do I disable it from using this file-scrambling piece of malware? How do I point it to my D drive and have the launcher obey for all features? How did re-installing fix NONE of this? Last edited: Nov 3, I don't know how to fully disable oneDrive, I am sorry. To redirect where the game stores its user files, including mods, place the attached userdir.
If that works you can replace the dot in that file with any file path you prefer. Oh my!. I think I've made it to work somehow. Finally the game is loading mods Theblacksheep Recruit 16 Badges. I only ask because I have been having the same issue and did everything Andrew said to do in this thread, and have had no success. Show hidden low quality content.

If needed, go back to an older patch, using Steam Beta tab. In case of manual installation, the steps are usually the following refer to specific mod instructions, if any :. I'm at my wits end here and I have no clue what to do. Stellaris itself is fine, does anybody here have any idea? Last edited by Snow Ilythila ; 30 Oct, pm.
